About the Training:

A focused, experiential webinar introducing somatic and play‑based strategies for supporting dysregulated children and strengthening co‑regulation with caregivers. Learn how fight, flight, and freeze responses show up in and outside the playroom, how to interpret these states through a nervous‑system lens, and how to apply simple, engaging interventions that promote safety, connection, and regulation.

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to: • Describe how fight, flight, and freeze responses present in children. • Explain how nervous system dysregulation contributes to behavioral challenges. • Identify at least three somatic or play‑based strategies for use in the playroom. • Identify at least two strategies caregivers can use at home. • Teach caregivers the A²ID steps for co‑regulation. • Apply nervous‑system–informed reasoning to select appropriate interventions.
